Edmonton Real Estate Agent Biography
Growing up in Stony Plain, AB, I'm a country boy turned urban dweller. At a young age I fell in love with two things; sports and learning. I came from a high-level athletics background, playing and coaching basketball at the post-secondary level and graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from MacEwan University. Lover of coffee, food, company, music, cooking, and humour. You can most likely find me in the kitchen, spinning some vinyl, or binge watching Jeopardy.
Much like athletics I put a lot of focus on fundamentals and preparation. My main focus is listening to my client's needs and aiding them in making disciplined and informed decisions. Mixing that with nearly a decade of customer service experience allows me to perform at the highest level for my clients. Each real estate transaction is not business as usual, but rather an opportunity to represent and protect a client's biggest financial asset. Whatever support needed, I will be with you every step of the way. If you want to take the lead, I will be right behind you and steer you clear of any potential obstacles we might encounter. A high priority of mine is ensuring both, myself and clients, are educated, transparent, and prepared to complete a transaction. Trading in real estate is not something that should be rushed, but making sure all the preliminary work is completed early on allows us to perform quickly and effectively when necessary.

Buying a Home
Our goal is to offer a fresh approach for clients when guiding you through the process of home ownership. The experience should be enjoyable and meaningful! You are making a decision of a lifetime, let’s make the buying process a memorable journey.
To keep everyone comfortable before we meet in person, we like to exchange a few emails, phone calls or texts. Establishing a dialogue is so important for us to stay on the same page throughout the process. For our first meeting we will discuss what to expect when buying a home and how to fulfill your wants and needs. When we meet (at a café or pub or at my office, wherever works for you!) we believe you should be able to decide if you want me to represent you further — no contracts or obligations until you are certain we are a good fit.
Touring Properties: I like to provide clients with a schedule of the properties we will be viewing via email or text message typically 18-24 hours before the first showing. At that time, we will arrange transportation plans to serve you best. Here are our options when going on home showings:
- Car Pool - Jump in my whip and we will check out properties together! Great way to discuss pros and cons with the homes we’ve seen fresh in your mind.
- Convoy - Go from house to house following each other. Ideal if you need some quiet time to chat with your significant other or think things over alone.
- Walking Tour – We can meet in a centralized location when viewing properties that are reasonably close by each other, or all in the same building!
Writing an Offer: When you’ve found the perfect property that meets your criteria it’s time to submit an offer to the seller. Before we draft the offer, we will provide you with a detailed market analysis of the property, including comparisons to similar properties, to ensure you’re confident that you’re getting the most for your money. At this point we can come up with a game plan on how to proceed with negotiations to get the best price for your prospective home. When negotiations finish and your offer is accepted, it’s time to celebrate! The best part of my job is seeing happy people and excited families get the keys to their dream home, and I feel honoured every time clients allow me to guide them through the process of buying a home.
Selling Your Home
The experience of selling your home can be very emotional. Whether it’s the family house or just a post–grad bachelor pad, we create all sorts of memories in the spaces we’ve lived. An agent should be supportive and sensitive to your needs throughout the process of putting your home up for sale and leading you to the SOLD finish line. As the objective party in my clients’ home sale, it is my duty to provide perspective and expert assistance to get you the price your home deserves on the terms with which you feel most comfortable.
Professional Photography: Photography is an art and house photos should be treated as such. My services always include professional real estate photography to ensure your home is represented to its fullest. Standing out in a sea of similar listings can be daunting but well-done photos can make your home shine in comparison. The photographer and I will come in and assess the room, taking care of staging and showcasing your home for photos so you don’t have to. I want your home to look as good as possible for first impressions so prospective buyers can see the value of your property right away.
Weekly Feedback: During a home sale, we know our clients want to hear how their property is performing. We make a point of staying in touch throughout the process so you can receive up–to–date feedback as soon as we can pass it on. There’s a significant amount of work that goes into selling a home from a client's perspective — constant cleaning and preparing for strangers to enter and judge your home is never comfortable long term. I do my best to respect the efforts my clients put in by staying in communication and following up with agents that have shown your property. As well, I am available to answer questions and provide advice whenever you need to check in. My goal is to make sure my clients feel supported at every step of the selling process so making time for you is my priority.
Electronic Signatures: Efficiency is important and your time is valuable. Electronic signatures work better for everyone. Our clients can rest assured that I take advantage of all the latest technology available to real estate professionals. Our job is to stay current and anticipate your needs in every way possible, saving my time and my clients’ time.
Marketing: We believe ensuring your home gets the exposure it needs is extremely important in the age of social media. We use tools such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Multiple Listing Service (MLS), YEGAgents.ca, and YEGProRealty.ca to give your property publicity in a tasteful way. My clients can see their home represented through high quality photos and videos that reach audiences on varied platforms with contemporary flair. Accurately representing you and your home is the key to selling your home for the best price possible!
